Sort To New Sheet

The Sort To New Sheet command lets you sort data on a sheet by up to six groups and then output the sort to a new worksheet.


  • Open Easy-XL's Sample Workbook
  • Select the Invoices Sheet
  • Select Sort To New Sheet from the Easy-XL Menu
  • In the Sort To New Sheet dialog box, you can select up to six columns on which to sort and you can select which columns to carry over to the results sheet. For this example, select SalesPerson from the Sort Columns section and SalesPerson, Quantity and Amount from the Columns To Carry Over section.
  • Click Finished.
